On Pavement: Brooklyn Commuters Face MTA Construction, Delays

February 17th, 2011 — 4:22am

For my newest Pavement story, I traveled to Windsor Terrace and Park Slope to speak with commuters about the fallout from the start of the MTA’s Culver Viaduct rehabilitation project.

Mr. Touraty’s pizzeria opened four months ago, before the construction project began. Thanks to the long-term work being done at Smith-9th, most of his customers disappeared, and he’s not sure his business will survive.

Let me know what you think in the comments.
